Forging FAQWhat forging sizes can you produce in Inconel 718 and other nickel alloys?
Open-die, upset and ring-rolled forgings run from 5 kg to 3,000 kg: rings up to 2,500 mm OD with 15–400 mm wall, discs to Ø1,200 mm and shafts to Ø500 mm × 6,000 mm length. Every delivery includes solution + age or annealed heat treatment, UT/MT/PT inspection and a mill test certificate traceable to the furnace batch.
Which standards govern your nickel alloy forgings and flanges?
Forgings are supplied to ASTM B564 and ASME B16.5, with age-hardened grades per AMS 5662 (Inconel 718) and AMS 5708 (Waspaloy). Sour-service items carry NACE MR0175 qualification; flanges ship with PMI report and hydrostatic test documentation on request.
Can you supply machined forgings for subsea and downhole service?
Yes. We deliver rough or finish-machined blocks, wellhead connectors and pump shafts in Inconel 718, Inconel 625 and Monel K-500 to NACE MR0175 hardness limits, with CMM dimensional reports and full heat traceability.
